£34,000 WATCH FOUND IN FAMILY DRAWER

A local family couldn’t believe their luck when they heard a grubby wristwatch, they had discovered in the back of their relative’s desk drawer sold at Hannam’s Auctioneers for a hammer price of £34,000. LALIQUE DISH DISCOVERED IN LOCAL STORAGE CONTAINER

An unusual French Lalique glass dish, decorated with two love birds was discovered in an unpaid storage container in Hambledon, just down the road to nearby Auctioneers, Hannam’s, in Selborne. DUTCH GLASS MAKES £30,000 AT LOCAL AUCTION ROOM

2019 could not have started any better for Hannam’s Auctioneers with a record breaking three-day, 2,949 lot auction. The biggest surprise came from two Dutch 18th century silver mounted green glass bottles, owned by a collector for thirty years and purchased for just £200.
